

{"id":1232,"date":"2014-05-22T07:12:11","date_gmt":"2014-05-22T07:12:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/midsussexbridleways.org.uk\/?page_id=1232"},"modified":"2024-02-08T18:11:22","modified_gmt":"2024-02-08T18:11:22","slug":"maps","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/midsussexbridleways.org.uk\/?page_id=1232","title":{"rendered":"Maps, Routes, Rides, Parishes &#038; Improvement Plans"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>On-line and interactive maps<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The three local authorities who have responsibility for the Rights of Way in MSABG\u2019s area all have on-line maps which can help in finding the location and (mostly) the path numbers of the bridleways and byways.<\/p>\n<p>They each differ in their utility to riders:<\/p>\n<p><b>The West Sussex map <\/b>\u00a0is the most user-friendly and gives up its information easily: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westsussex.gov.uk\/leisure\/walking_cycling_horseriding\/footpaths_and_bridleways\/public_rights_of_way_feedback.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">West Sussex County Council<\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>The East Sussex map <\/b>\u00a0has additional information, even so far as to give you individual gate reference numbers BUT you have to be zoomed in to the maximum level to be shown both these and the path numbers. At this magnification it is tricky to be sure where exactly you are on the map: <a href=\"https:\/\/row.eastsussex.gov.uk\/standardmap.aspx\">https:\/\/row.eastsussex.gov.uk\/standardmap.aspx<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Note: You can find most of the path numbers here on the MSABG website.<\/p>\n<p>Go to the Bridleway Reports Page now; pretend that you want to submit a bridleway report; chose your parish and look at the drop down list of bridleways. You will see the bridleways in that parish numbered and described.<\/p>\n<p>We have entered a huge number of the ridden paths in MSABG\u2019s area but don\u2019t have information on some in parishes where we have few\u00a0 members to give us the information required. Contact us if the path you are looking for is not listed and you could help complete our data base.
